In the Cemetery
From a single date to custom artwork
On-site lettering and sandblast work for monuments already in place.
Date additions
The second date for a spouse or family member, added to a stone already in place.
Added inscriptions
Additional names, epitaphs, or expanded family details cut alongside the original work.
Custom artwork
Sandblast emblems, symbols, and other custom designs added to an existing monument.
Color filling
Optional color applied to lettering for added contrast and legibility, especially on weathered or hard-to-read inscriptions.
Custom & Commercial
On-site work for homes and businesses
We bring the same on-site lettering off the cemetery — boulder entrance markers, address stones, mailbox posts, pet memorials, and other pieces already at your property. If shop work makes more sense, we can pick the stone up or you can drop it off.
Boulder lettering
Entrance markers, address stones, and signage for businesses, contractors, and developers.
Mailbox posts & address stones
Custom lettering for residential and commercial properties.
Pet memorials
Custom designs for backyard gardens or private placement.
Customer-provided stone
Bring a piece you have in mind and we'll quote the carving. One-off custom work is welcome.
Sandblast Engraving FAQs
Common questions about adding lettering and designs to existing monuments.
Can lettering be added to any monument?
Most granite monuments can be engraved on-site or in the shop. Very old or fragile marble and limestone require more care and may have limitations. Send us a photo and we'll let you know what's workable.
Can you match the existing lettering style?
We do our best to match the font, depth, and finish of the original work. An exact match isn't always possible — especially on older monuments — but we get as close as the stone allows.
Do you ever bring monuments into the shop?
Most cemetery work is done at the stone, but some jobs are better handled in the shop — larger additions, fragile or unusual stones, or pieces that benefit from controlled conditions. We'll let you know if a particular monument is a better fit for shop work, and we coordinate the move and reset if so.
What information do you need to get started?
Usually just the cemetery and the name on the stone is enough. That's how we find the monument and pull up what's there. A photo helps a lot if you have one, but it isn't required. If you have specific wording, spelling, or layout preferences for the addition, include those too.
Can you engrave a boulder, business sign, or other custom piece?
Yes. Boulder entrance markers, business signage, address stones, mailbox posts, pet memorials, and customer-provided pieces are all common. If it's stone and you want it lettered, send a photo or description and we'll quote the carving.
